PROGRAMME PHILOSOPHY & OBJECTIVES

A Christ-centred curriculum stands at the centre of ANU’s educational programme, and the Biblical Studies Department is the foundation for such a venture. ANU’s vision of raising leaders with Christian values calls for pastors and church leaders who are academically, biblically and theologically balanced to be self-supporting, effective and relevant.

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

ANU’s department of Biblical Studies purposes to fulfil its mission by:

Providing educational instruction at the undergraduate level;

Providing biblical, theological, ministry, and business administration instruction in a Spirit-filled ethos;

Exposing students to those disciplines which will enable the effective communication of the Gospel and in the field of business, the understanding of the people to which the Gospel is being shared, and the acquisition of necessary skills;

Challenging students to formulate a solid biblical and Christian worldview and mindset for live and ministry;

Enabling students to develop the analytical and reflective skills needed for maturity in life, ministry and business;

Stimulating students to discover and develop their spiritual gifts;

Exposing students to the practices of ministry through supervised experiences.
